Portugal । Migration specialist Jorge Malheiros, a geographer, points out that, a hundred days after its creation, the Agency for Integration, Migrations, and Asylum (AIMA) is yet to meet expectations post-SEF.
Despite its goal of facilitating the regularization of 350,000 pending processes and aiding immigrant integration, AIMA has reportedly covered fewer applications than its target. The challenge lies ahead in determining whether AIMA will work miracles to complete its project or face difficulties along the way.
